Emil Turek's Records

From Montgomery, Minnesota, Turek was known and is remembered as a family man. His meticulous records provide us with details of his training and combat missions, and his photographs and post-war correspondence gives us insights to his crew's wartime experiences. Turek eagerly contributed to the first reports and American documentaries about the men who became the Hiroshima POWs.
